NYFW came fast, it was wild and left us excited about the Spring 2020.
NY fashion week is known for it's wearability and commercial looks. We usually see classy clean makeup and only a handful of designers get funky with the beauty looks. One of the "craziest" shows is Marc Jacobs - that's where we can see the characters created by the designer, he takes us to a different world with runway decorations, fun makeup and hair.
But the season SPRING 2020 came in with unexpected funky looks from a lot of brands: colorful makeup, crazy hair and cool styling. Maybe a new generation of the designers and brands are not afraid to be unique and different? For our artsy community it means.... WE GET TO PLAY!
Looking back at it I'm getting even more excited about the spring - we just need to survive the winter.
